Probably true. Then again without modern technology (and weapons), I seriously doubt that humans would have survived for very long. Without gunpowder, we'd be toast.

I'd be more worried about the extinction event that killed the dinosaurs than I would be of being their prey.

IMO is an issue of scaling. With a good spear, crossbow and knife, I could probably take down something like a lion by myself if I had to. T-rex would likely have eaten me for breakfast.

I did agree with the comment however that prey didn't necessarily go extinct, and necessity is the mother of invention.

In fact, it wasn't until around the time of the Flood that they started eying mankind, and God placed a special fear of man on them afterward.
