Speciation is not a guarantee and is also the opposite of adaptation so you will have to pick.

Extinction is extinction and a product of Death, unless you are going back to pre WWII Evolution.

Evolution does explain why we see the fossils we do see.

DNA does not need Evolution to be created.

Evolution does explain why the DNA sequences of offspring differ from their ancestors, and why the DNA of separate populations diverge over time.

Phylogenetics does not need Evolution to be created.

We observe that evolution does produce phylogenies.

Comparitive Anatomy is not a thing.

It is an area of study, and also an activity.

Adaptation comes close, but it is no guarantee.

Evolution is adaptation.

It most certainly is. Just look at other human beings. Guess what? They have a diversity of characteristics.
