  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

GTA: San Andreas was just released here, by Capcom. I had no idea that this took so long to be translated into Japanese, but it just recently was. There are huge promotions here. In Shibuya, there are giant billboards all over promoting the same. Most every game store has GTA:SA playing on their PS2 demo machines.

Kind of ironic, considering that it's usually use westerners who have to wait for the games after they'd been released in Japan first. :D

If I remember to bring my camera to work on Saturday, I'll try to take some pictures of the giant billboards around Shibuya.

Why? I've had the PS2 version since it came out in 2004, and I also have the X-Box and PC versions...

I just think it's ironically amusing that it just came out in Japan!
