  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Grace was an average school girl who didn't know anything about religion and she was quite content with life as it was. That is until she was 13 years old. Her father who she was very close to had just died and her best friend had moved away. So its fair to say that Grace was going through a bad time in her life and she saw no way through it.

A few weeks later when Grace had had enough and was seriously thinking about commiting suicide, her last remaining friend rushed her to a health clinic to try and find a way out of the mess she was in. That is where she met Billy who happened to be a Christian. He taught her that God is always there for her and loves her dearly no matter what she has done or been through in the past. He also told her that with God's help she can get out of any situation that she finds herself in.

Over the next few weeks Grace found herself freely going back to the clinic to hear Billy's stories about God's amazing power and love. But she found herself in a dilema was she prepared to accept Jesus into her life and change the way that she viewed and lived her life. Or was she just going to use Billy's kindness and generousity for her own benefit as something to do and somewhere to go when she is bored.

In the end she decided to........
