Grace

[importunity]

This is exactly right.

As long as I am focused on me, what I should do or not do, what I have done or haven't done, I find there's sinking feeling within. Thoughts of condemnation creep in. I just can't do it myself!

I was saved by grace. Now I live by grace. My thoughts are fixed instead upon how much the Lord loves me! As I do this the fruit of the spirit is profuse. It happens not by my effort. It just happens.

He loves us, oh how He loves us oh how He loves......
If grace is an ocean we're all sinking.....

"For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,"

The strength for obedience comes when you know you are accepted perfectly. It's those who know they are forgiven who sense how close God is to them. Thinking of your sins and failures causes feelings of condemnation and separation from God. But this need not be so! On God's part NOTHING can separate us from His love! It's all a lie if we feel we far away. The truth is He is near us. Believe He loves you! Believe He accepts you. Believe the cross was enough! What more can we add to that?

Wow, what a song! The timing was perfect for me to watch it. My wife and I were sorta picking on each other this morning. Your know, "the little things", and if continued, it could have led to an arguement. She said something, I thought was a little stupid, I say something Just a little bit "stupider, that kind of thing. I said that we better stop, so I went to this forum and immediately, listened to this song. I just melted in my chair. Listened to the song twice. It was awesome. It wasn"t just the song itself, or the lady singing it. It was the "anointing of God" all over it. Wow!

I immediately grab, hugged her and apologised.

Thank You, CindyHis... Who knows what would happened if I had not of heard that annointed song. My wife would of probably told me to "stand in the corner"... Your probally aware that we on this forum, don't just share the word and our experiences, its all about "ministry". There are a lot of lurkers and seekers in the background "tuning" in to this God inspired "ministry" around the world. They may be "blessed" by our actions and from what we say on this forum. We may never know that someone was blessed by us until we go to heaven.

But today, you blessed me!

What an awesome annointing there is over me right now. This has me in such a wonderful worshipful attitude!!

And then I look down under the song and I see this comment:

What is Grace to you?

GOD'S divine ability.... the fullness of the GODHEAD that IS the ETERNAL life essence of GOD the FATHER SON HOLY SPIRIT..... and transforms and forever lives in us when we become new creations..... CHRIST IN ME my only hope of glory (perfection)..... i can then function out of my human ability on any given situation.... which is also called living by the flesh..... or i can chose to function out from GOD'S ability indwelling me..... which is also called living by the SPIRIT of GOD....

living by the flesh (my own human ability) is like work and takes effort.....

living by the HOLY SPIRIT WHO lives in me is like resting in faith.... so faith is how we access the ability / GRACE of GOD.... and enter HIS rest as a lifestyle.....

and when we don't understand or have faith in GOD'S ability living in us we start striving in the flesh to get things done.... and can get very tired very quickly.... and not get the results we were hoping for.....

so that is why wof put so much emphasis on FAITH in GOD'S WORD..... hearing and hearing and hearing the WORD brings faith..... and faith in GOD'S WORD allows us to enter into HIS REST / HIS ability (GRACE) dwelling inside us..... and then we get supernatural FULLNESS of THE GODHEAD results.....
