Also Daniel wrote about his prayer where he prayed "we" meaning him and his nation Israel.

One of the most common errors that people make when interpreting the Bible is treating the corporate things as individual things. It skews my doctrine when I look at everything in the Bible as all about me and neglect the fact that many things int eh scripture are speaking to the group.

But the new corporate, is about the body of Christ, we are the church, that is built on a foundation, cornerstone, all words which show a new beginning, and it was after Jewish law abolishment, that this new kainos man was made as per Eph 2:15, and following verses, about a spiritual temple, not Israel. Same as Heb 3, and 1 Peter 2, we are the temple, and other verses too, all showing that a change to the corporate came, it is a spiritual corporation now, not about land or Judaism. Unless the body of Christ is about the natural?

Not only that, but individualsim is in the NT, we are members in particular, as per Romans and 1 Cor. Paul also said I lay hold of that which Christ layed hold of ME in Phil 3, and he also said for ME, in Gal 2:20.

So the indiviual stands also in the text.

It's the judgment upon a nation, not on you personally. God is able to preserve you through His judgement. You aren't discerning the scope or the groups involved. Not everything is about you.

does a famine affect me? If it hurts millions, won't it hurt me? Trickle down economics/judgment.

don't forget, not saying you, but alot of people think 911 was a judgment, those of the harbinger book, as they forget your point about being protected, as Christians were killed on that day.

I hope that an earthquake is accurate enough, to just get my neighbors house, who are not saved, but spares me, and oh my, I hope the super market has food for Christians, and the power company gives us Christians power, and my bank does not....:);)

out of all of the world leaders, throughout time, there are only 2 heads mentioned in Rom 5, and if Paul were alive, i doubt he would put obama, bush, or netanyahu in Romans 5. I am under the headship of Christ, my sins were covered at the cross, there is no condemantion for me, because of israel, or bush, or anyone, Rom 8:1 does not have an exemption clause, pertaining to world leaders.

Make up your mind. In one reply you are responding like the judgment was directed at you, and now you are referring to a judgment hat impacts the peoples of a nation.

Please be consistent. I clearly stated it would be a national judgment and gave the example of David where the peoples of his nation was bearing the punishment of his sin.

I am fully aware that there are christians affected in disasters. I also clearly said He is able to deliver you, but I never said it is a guarantee He will choose to do so.

well, if it hits a nation, aren't I judged via the peoples? I am addressing several things in mt multi dimensional amphibian brain.:)

so, why haven't you addressed my headship point?

are you in trouble if you local mayor sins?

well, since it is not a guaranteed deliverance, can you ask God, to hold up on this judgment, I got plans ahead, thanks!

Gee this thread went offrail at 120 mph didn't it?

I post this as a prophetic heads up, sound the alarm if you will to a complacent/apathetic body, and now we're discussing the accountability of the INDIVIDUAL Christian during a time of judgment?!

How trite.

/no offense to anyone personally.

posting a link, and a quote, does not exactly give everyone on the thread, who then are seemingly are off topic, a direction, a boundary, or limits as to where the op wanted to go. of corse this kind of op will have sub topic, offshoot topics, and some minor diversions, but even the diversions are within the scope of things...

You like your little tangent trails, don't ya?

Your first question I've answered twice now. I won't be doing so again.

Scripture has a lot of examples of a nation suffering due to the sins of the leaders, but since I'm not aware of any dealings witIh mayors in scripture, I don't know. Then again, some of the kings were rulers over city states, so who knows, but that's so far off my point that it doesn't even matter.

Me too.

I had an acquaintance once that was told he had six weeks to live; the big "C". His priorities changed IMMEDIATELY. Things that were so important minutes ago, now meant absolutely nothing to him now, now he was on fire for the Lord. (Since he obviously believed he'd be meeting Him sooner rather than later.)

Here we have the tetrad bloodmoons during feastdays of the Lord, the Red Heifer being Kosher, (thus probably being turned into ashes for the purification of the temple mount, it was never disqualified) This so called peace treaty that is being kept off the radar by Kerry, where Israel is being forced to capitulate to the Palestinians, and now this, and the hits just keep right on coming.

I've always wondered WHY Cancer seems like such a big deal, when LIFE Himself enters our heart, saves our soul, and yet somehow a "doctor's" diagnosis can change us so dramatically & completely compared to God's Spirit.

For completeness sake, yes he was cured of his cancer. Maybe it was a wake up call, or just the grace of God. I'm just curious how many more wake up calls the bride needs before she gets it as quickly as that guy did, if ever.

Mods, please close this thread at your leisure.

Now I know how Jeremiah felt in ch 34.

Priorities would have to change. We live like we'll be here for years to come and you have to plan that way. Let's face it, a parent sends their child to school in anticipation of them requiring to be educated for the remainder of their lives, we conduct ourselves in a way that they will be around a long, long time, but for some, that's not the case.

It's been interesting to observe my family and notice that everyone lives into their 80's and 90's, except for those who die of cancer. There's been nothing else so far, just old age and cancer.

I prefer to leave such things to the Lord. All I've asked about my time here is at least until my family no longer needs me. That's really all I need. If I'm here longer, then that's His business, not mine. Then again, that's me planning for the long term, but inside I can't help but believe that time is short, very short, and I'm trapped in a place where I have to live as if both will take place. It's rather uncomfortable.

Don't take things personally, you aren't alone... Certain individuals who helped derail this thread have vocalized their stern disapproval of all things prophetic in posts past to others here. It is nothing against you, just they have to sort things out within themselves.
