you have to die to your flesh, and bear with them and stay with them anyway to see them saved if the Lord leads you to, but its not something you enjoy.
and somepeople may be so spiritual that they just LOVE doing all the Lord tells them to do, but im gonna be real, i dont LOVE to do all that the Lord tells me to do, and i certainly dont LOVE to be around people who are purposely negative and depressing because that's not how the Lord made us and it wears on you .... its alright for people who dont know God to be that way, though when a person gets saved God changes all that and brings joy and happiness, if they stay close to God.
Your honesty is commendable, but there are some serious flaws in your logic here, and some outright judgments against other people that are not necessary. And I'm not talking just about "goths" here but about people who suffer from depression and/or bipolar and can neither help the way they are nor are they doing it "on purpose". In fact, it is people passing judgments of that nature that add to the burden of having to bear with an illness like that. If you "certainly don't LOVE" being part of the SOLUTION by having to set your own self aside to minister to people in pain, then please do those in pain a favor, and at least remove yourself from being part of the PROBLEM by blaming them for something they didn't want, didn't choose, and can't help. Your judgments -- that they are (a) doing it "purposefully" and (b) not really saved or true to or close to God if they struggle with these things and don't automatically paste on a fake happy face and perform 24/7 as the New Miss Merry Sunshine -- are not only completely wrong, but they are offensive in the extreme to me and furthermore, a stumblingblock to my faith and to the faith of others like me who deal with these kinds of afflictions or even who simply were not born with a happy fluffbunny conformist fitter-inner disposition, 9/10 of which is the product of how OTHERS treat you rather than how you yourself feel, I might add!! So... if you don't want to help us see Jesus, fine -- just kindly stop blocking the view yourself with this mean-spirited lack of compassion.
