Last June I lost a very good paying job with benefits. I was devastaded.
If it wasn't for my faith in God and my GF I'm not sure what would of happened. It took me six weeks to land a new job but it was a quarter of the amount I was making and with no benefits. Compared to not having a job it was a huge blessing. "Thank you Jesus!" 
Anyway I hit my boss up for a raise two days ago and he got back with today that it was approved! It will still be far less then what I was making but the raise will sure help. You know the other blessing is my boss recognizes my worth and that really feels good too.
