Got a question

i have a question. Does anyone freak out when they hear a sermon, and when it talks about salvation, and does your mind go into doubts and the "what ifs"? I have a fear of listening to sermons and get scared when they talk about salvation, cause i know when i hear it my mind will go 100 mph and think thoughts that would make me doubt. I want to listen to learn, but my mind wont stop. Has anyone went, or going through this?

Yes, I am right there with you and understand what you are going through. I often get butterflys in my stomache when my pastor even mentions the word salvation in a sermon. I think its probably just anxiety.

I can somewhat relate actually sermons triger blasphemous thoughts 4 me so i tend to avoid it

Ye, kinda but I'm like Keryakos I freak out if I hear anything (dirty, about Hell, about God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, anything that could make a thought trigger, mine will even start when I hear about bad things in the world happening)

I went through that also,I was terrified of church,it caused so much pain and grief that I would only go about twice a year for a long time.Bible reading also scared me and caused me pain and so did worship music.However there was a cd of certain bible verses I could listen too.I am all over that now though,thankfully.I know this will all end for all of you also.You will get free from it and get stronger and stronger.I hope this happens speedily for all of you.
