A Carl Zeiss 50mm f/1.7 Planar T* (Contax to EOS adapted)

Got it yesterday. Time to show some sample pics

both of these are straight out of the camera. nothing done to them.

These have some pp done to them, but are both at f/1.7, ISO 100, 1st no flash, 2nd flash.

Wow... Now there's some NICE glass!!! What did you give for it?

I got it from a guy on another forum. he was selling off a bunch of extra glass he didn't need. (including 2 other Carl Zeiss lenses). I ended up paying $140 (including shipping). Its manual focus only, however because of doing macro I'm simi-used to it.

Those 50mm's are one of the most useful lenses you will ever use! Cherish it!!!!

I love taking pictures with under 2 Fstop. The last wedding I did, I shot almost the whole thing at 2.8. The pictures turned out nice!
