Gossip and Slander?

Gossip is defined as revealing something private about a person, to someone else. Slander is defined as misrepresenting a person, to someone else. Many people never think that they are guilty of slander because they have always heard that it is only print media, radio, or tv, that can be guilty of such. I think we can be very sure that the media does not engage in such behaviour near as much as the individual. So many people have come to depend on gossip and slander as their social tool to bonding with others, that they would be shocked to think that such behaviour is sinful. We hear gossip and slander everyday, at work, school, restaurants, etc. It is everywhere where people seem to gather.

I agree.
Some here on this forum seem to almost purposefully misrepresent what others have said and their position.

Can you show where I have lied about something someone said ?
If not, Id suggest you not start bearing false witness here thus making yourself what you seem to be alluding to about me.
I dont need to lie about your words or anyone elses. Some of you bury yourselves with the UNscriptural nonsense you present on this forum. And I hardly need to gossip about anyone since I'll say whatever I have to say TO them directly.

I am not referring to this forum when I mention gossip and slander. I am referring to when we are out in the world. We don't lose our job when someone on this forum when someone twists what we said in a post.
