I have a copy of the original that hangs in the Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville......

Hehe..no, it's okay. I just changed my faith icon a couple days ago. I figured I was getting to the point where I should make a decision. But I'm not an offical member of the Catholic church yet.Anonykat said:No kidding!!! Wow.

This is the second time I've seen comments like this in this thread, and I've got to admit, I'm a bit disappointed. If I could only understand why the Orthodox treat Catholics with such disdain when those feelings are not reciprocated here.

The fact is, that there are major differences in our beliefs, and we are not about to compromise ours, to bring about reunion. I would urge you to study, as I did, learn the truth, and maybe the Lord will open your eyes.
In the meantime, I will pray for you. I really don't understand your purpose of posting on an Orthodox Forum, but wish you well in your quest.

Ok, thank you for the clarification. However, St. Tikon did ask for a week to come up with information to convince her of the betterness* of Orthodoxy. That didn't sound like a joke to me. Perhaps I should have made my comment there, instead of here. My apologies.Anonykat said:

I meant every word I said. I see nothing wrong with trying to convert someone to my faith. As I said, this is an ORTHODOX forum.

I know it wasn't a joke. I know you were serious. I guess I need to change my approach when it comes to people who are considering the Orthodox faith. Back when IDD was open, I took a lot of flak for saying that I saw no problem with someone considering Orthodoxy, over Catholicism, because pushing the case for Catholicism, when at least from my viewpoint there was no heresy between us, simply schism, seemed to be nothing but sour grapes and sheep stealing. I guess I need to reconsider this though.St. Tikon said:
