I just wanted to post a goodbye to all of you. I will be posting this on the womens and marriage boards. I have to come to find that while there are some Christians who are Bible believing on this board I find that their are more who are very liberal and don't care much for Gods word unless it suits their needs. This is not what I am looking for and so I must say my goodbyes. Thank you for welcoming me. God bless.

God bless you. I realized almost immediately upon joining this site that this really isn't a 'Christian' site' and I don't really think of it as one. However, I have met some wonderful Christians here and what a blessing that has been. I didn't join really for fellowship reasons though. I came out of some cultic-type teachings and I was looking for other folks who were also 'recovering'. Since that time though, God has really used this site to sharpen my 'sword'. Many of the posts cause me to spend a lot of time in my Bible and in prayer. As a result, I've become far more anchored in the Word and that is always a blessing.

Perfection is of the nature of God. We are humans and most imperfect as well as impermanent. so, even if we do attain perfection in the minutia we will lose it through impermanence. Some of these people that you look down on might need the support of this group to make a change. I like to practice 'live and let live' so I try and make room for all.

Good luck in any case with finding what you are looking for.

I do have to agree with you. I am fairly new here about a month. There is a lot of fighting and bickering over details that really aren't all that important. So I've had to stay out of most of the conversations. I go to the discussions or prayer requests to see I can help someone out. I've also found in this short time, that there are non believers on here just trying to cause trouble. I just wanted to let you know that I see what you see and if you ever want to talk, send me a pm. Otherwise, take care and I hope you find the Christian friends that you are looking for!

While I know what you are talking about, I also have to remember that every Christian is in a growing process. God is not finished with any of us yet. If I can help someone grow in Christ or if I can learn from another, then it is worthwhile.

You are so right. I try to keep that in mind, while talking on here. I think I am too senstive and take things personally. It's just easier to hang out in the prayer requests threads.. How much trouble can I get into there! lol I didn't come to this forum to fight, just to meet new Christian friends! Thank you for putting into perspective!

I'm trying to figure out what would happen if every "Bible believing Christian" left this forum. I'm trying to figure out what would happen if I hid in a Christian bubble..... how would that benefit the world...... sorry but I just have to disagree with the whole concept of leaving because other people aren't good enough..... if I ever stopped posting here, I would just stop, there would be no thread....
