Note: I never watched the show but this was really good.

In this video, I'll be doing a comparative style analysis of Betty Hofstadt Francis vs Megan Calvet in relation to the evolution and impact around the concept of the “ideal” image for women throughout the 1950s vs 1960s/early 1970s that are featured in Mad Men.

The video will break down the fashion and expected behaviors of the two eras the characters come from and how it translated onto women along the barriers broken down around it through their personalities, lifestyles, and belief systems.

Through this, we can understand how fashion and societal norms functioned together and evolved through this time as well as see the impact it had on real women during this period using Betty and Megan as examples.

Many times, we are the architects of our misfortune because we are so quick to be loud-mouthed about our testimonies, especially the ones we are still anticipating, or the ones we have not fully manifested yet.

Many times, many Christians fall into this trap of having their blessings or miracles cut short. They got too excited and told another “Christian friend” or “believer” about the things they were expecting from God, or how much God has blessed and prospered them. They confuse or mistake confessing positivity in faith with testifying.

One thing I’d like about working back of house is being able to handle those textiles. I like the basic art of it. Going to an Hermes shop would be dreadful, I don’t belong out front! Lol.

I like it too. They did it in black and beige without the shimmer or less pronounced. I choose looks that are wearable with longevity. The shimmer is memorable. You'll wear it less. The beige is more versatile.
