There was a thread a little while ago about what people wished they'd been told before they got pregnent.

Well this is a kind of opposite.

Tell me the great things about being pregnent

I'll start with one of mine.

There is an end in sight for me to finish working in an out of home job - i really hate it and i can't wait for my last day. I will be finishing work as soon as i can before my expected due date - at the moment i am hoping that will be 6 weeks before

My hormones were out of wack before I got pregnant. I was crying quite often and my menstral cycle was bouncing around and now I'm semi sane. Pregnancy will probably straighten it out. That and just having life growing in you is so special

Oooh, I like this thread idea

1. It's the only time in my whole life that I can enjoy gaining weight and "starting to show" and we even get to wear super cute clothese to maximize it!

2. I love waking up each morning and remembering baby; gently stroking my tummy and smiling and daydreaming. That's such a great feeling.

I love how my husband has suddenly become super-protective! He is always checking up on me and patting my tummy. It is obvious that he already loves this child so much, and that just touches my heart!

That I will have a flesh and blood child at the end of it, that is part me and part hubby.

Sorry that is all I can think of, pregnancy and me don't get along at all.

Hubby can't keep his hands off of me

My hubby does alot more around the house, is more patient with me, and takes my 2 yr old out alot more to give me time to rest!

Hubby has taken on more domestic responsibility, I get to take naps...and lots of them without feeling guilty. This last trimester has been great because he is big enough that when he curls up in a little ball, I can put my hands on him and hold him while he is sleeping. I love it when he kicks and gets the hiccups. I have more of an appetite than I ever have!

i love the fact of no periods too.

i also love that fact that my tummy is growing but there is a good reason for it

1. The way Hubby gently kisses my belly and makes sure that he carries everything heavy.
2. This "pregnancy glow" thing is making me feel very pretty lately and Hubby is even more affectionate than usual.
3. The precious baby flutters that I have just started to feel in the last few days
4. Daydreaming about my parents and ILs holding their grandbaby and telling them the baby's name.

I have to admit...once I got past the first trimester, this pg thing hasn't been all bad

Just wanted to say...I started that other thread and it was not meant to be a list of bad things during pregnany at all. It was just meant to be general information on things people may not have heard before they got pregnant.

Here are a few of my favorite things about being pregnant:
*people rubbing my tummy
*endless back rubs
*getting to pre-board airplanes

I don't know...people touching my belly... ok if you are someone I know, but if I don't know you hands off... if I do know you please ask first... yeah I have boundry issues

i'll enjoy (and so will my H) the bigger boob thing when it happens. i haven't changed cup size at all - i'm just a bit fuller

I enjoy knowing that i am pregnent but the people at work don't - it's my secret.

I enjoy the little pats my H does on my tummy - it's so cute
