Good Roommates

[This is one of a few posts so far that I originally wanted to post as prayer requests, but because I want to change how many more prayer requests there are than praise reports, I wanted to flip my prayer around to let it be praise first, then prayers. I highly recommend doing the same; focusing on gratitude for God, then your requests, makes life a little more Christian.]

I want to thank God for the excellent roommates I've been blessed with this year at college. We mostly just leave each other alone, which I appreciate, and the occasions when we talk are quite enjoyable.

I've been praying for them, and I'd like more of the Church Militant praying as well. I've barely talked to one of them, and would like to interact with him a little more; and for all 3 of my roommates, I want to leave a good mark in their lives, that they may be better people because I happened to be in the same room for a year. None of them are Christian, and I know one of them is very closed off to Christianity; he respects my faith, but thinks it's all a bit stupid, and hates how often Christians have tried to evangelize him.

Dear Lord, I lift up Alex to you, grant him discernment on when and what words to speak with his room mates, remove the scales from their eyes and allow them to see the truth, allow that seed to be planted, if it be Your will, Father, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I've barely talked to one of them, and would like to interact with him a little more; and for all 3 of my roommates,

One suggestion would be to organise a Sunday diner for all your flatmates. You';d need to find out whether they would want such a meal and at what time.
If they like the idea cost it out and let them know what their share would be.
As host you would be able to say grace before serving the meal.
That would be a simple notifcation that you are Christian.
If your flat has a notice board pin a church timetable/order of coming services to it.
In the common area leave out a Christian book you are reading. This can generate conversations.
