Had a nice day off work. Went for a walk through the town, one of the local parks and got some fish and chips. This evening I have been watching the thunder and lightening from my balcony window.

I love a good thunder storm ... when I am inside, warm and dry.

No thunderstorms today - but did go out for a short walk and got soaked in a rain shower!

Went online to see this morning's Sunday service - I always look forward to seeing it.

Tonight it's chicken and chips while watching Moonraker, one of my favourite Bond films.

Praying for my friends to have a good night's rest and a blessed week ahead.

Glad you had a good day today and enjoyed the piano playing.
I got home from work. On the way back, my work colleague told me I looked tired, and when I got home, I put the shopping on the side meaning to pack it away, answered a phone call, sat on the sofa and fell asleep for an hour and a half!
I'll probably sleep quite well tonight!

Look what I found when I got home from work! Looks like a Christmas card scene!
To make matters worse, I even tried to walk over the hailstones thinking that's all there was, not realising the deep flood of water they were covering! Feet are soggy and wet!

It was quite fun watching the storm. Lightning was spectacular - all over the place. Never seen such torrential rain - roads were completely flooded within 15 minutes.
Definitely won't need to water the garden!
Time for a foot soak for me. They say that when our feet feel better, then so do we!
My backup plan is make one of my special hot chocolate night time drinks!

Thankfully the rain seems to have moved on, and all the flooding on the road outside my flat has subsided. No more wet feet trying to wade through!
Had a quiet evening in, chatting to my housegroup on Zoom - we meet every fortnight. Tonight we were sharing our thoughts on prayer.
Today I have become one of the Ambassadors on CF. I enjoy meeting and greeting people. I remember when I first joined CF, when I spent a lot of time working nights, on my nights off I felt quite isolated and realised how important it was to have people around to talk to. So hope I will be of some help to people.

That is so good! I am so pleased to hear that you are now an Ambassador. I thought about it but then decided to stay with the angels, and pray for people.
We have had all your rain, although living on a hill means the rain runs away.
I think the lockdown has caused problems with not meeting friends. The forum has been a lifeline for me for a few years now for fellowship with other Christians.
Well, time to sleep, I pray for us all every night for healing sleep. We had a good walk this evening, and that was good.

When I returned from work at 6.00pm, I had an hour's kip on the sofa.
I think it's all this stormy weather, makes us all feel tired. It's looking brighter for the weekend and the coming week
