One of the Elders at my church has it and he too values it greatly. He used Spurgeons advice when he bought his commentaries on the Scriptures. He did great following Spurgeons advice.

The reading is a bit dry, but Spurgeon's preaching is very powerful. I will have to bookmark that online book.

I purchased an old exposition of Matthew he did on e-bay awhile back. After alittle research I found out it was his last work. He died while working on it and Mrs. Spurgeon completed it from his notes, it is one of my most treasured books.

Interesting, I am a big fan of Spurgeon's writings also, they helped me a great deal last year. I currently use a Matthew Henry commentary and find that most useful.

I have used this book for while, to select all my commentaires. It is fantastic! I have always wished that it was available online.

Once I saw an upadated vesion, too, which was obviously particularly useful. I didn't buy it, though, and have regretted it since. Does anyone know anything about it?

And, oh, yes, Spurgeon is fantastic. Has anyone read his 'Treasury of David', on the psalms - I have never felt like anything else on the psalms was worth buying, after that...
