CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

there is only one reliable source for this discussion and that is God's word. Everybody else's words need to be checked and double checked against the map that is the Bible.

I am really having a hard time understanding where you stand from a religious point of view. So briefly, where do you stand from a biblical point of view? I will never say someone else's map is wrong, but my faith in Jesus and God are stronger than ever, so being deceived is less of a problem for me, as we all look to God to discern what others tell us, but more importantly, I strive to keep those I love strong in their faith with God and love for others also. Peace.
Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love [is] the fulfillment of the law.

Do not feel alone my Brother many have a very hard time understanding where I am coming from. I am coming from where God has put me and to the purpose he has chosen for my life.
I am coming from a position of truth that calls on Christianity to fall on its knees and beg Jesus forgiveness for what we have done in his name.
For I cry out to God and beg him to forgive my people my family which is Christianity for we have abandoned him and chased after our lover. I beg God to hold his wrath just a while longer so that more can be afforded the chance to understand with their hearts and turn and be healed. for if we fail to repent God will unleash he plagues and he will give to us the God we have been following. And we will suffer the fate of our lover which is to be cast into the pit.

Not all that have received Christ has abandoned Him or chased after another "lover". The bible itself tells us how to follow God thru the teachings of His Son Jesus, and if we focus more on the physical things or future, then we lose the true focus of what God and His Son were saying.Just The Facts said:
Those in Christ have no fear of what happens here in the "earthly" realm, as our realm dwells in the heaven above, eternally. We walk in the Spirit and shine our light on others by our own action, words and deeds and that is done by love and compassion for others.
I find inner peace thru the words of God in the bible and let those words guide me in God's purpose for which He has called me, just as you read and follow it to guide you in what He has called you for.

I agree it is not about worrying about the future this is pointless.
It is about spreading the Gospel of Peace in the Face of the God Of forces and War who rules this Earth at this present moment. Because God allows it of course.
I post in these forums because Satan has used Sorcery (false prophetic understand) to deceive Christianity into believing this lie.
And he will use this false doctrine he has built for 1700 years now to deceive a great many people into following him and claiming him as Jesus returned.
the belief that the 1,000 years of peace has happened is what allows the AC to deceive the Christian World. I post against this lie and work while the power of the Holy people remains to show these truths to as many as the spirit will guide me to and to as many as he will teach through my witness.
Soon will come the second rain and many will die as their Brothers of Old standing in truth and righteousness in the literal face of the Creator of this lie.

Well in that case, why not just believe Christ came once and that is it? That way we will know anyone else that comes along in the future will be false. I don't mean to sound like we have to believe like this, as most people don't, but I am at ease with my beliefs. And you are right about bringing others to Christ and keeping are faith strong.Just The Facts said:

My faith in Gods word will not let me believe in a lie that is only plausible when you deny mountains of scripture.
In order to be a preterist you have to deny scripture and create illusions of completion in order to not call Jesus and God liars.
I have looked at what you are trying to each as the Truth. I studied it for longer then you have now had faith my Brother and the truth cried out to me and said believe not such lies.
You are new to the Faith and as you grow and mature in this faith you will come to see how this denial and illusion only serve Satan in his mission to defeat Jesus when he returns with the armies of Heaven.
Do not assume I have never heard what you speak of I know the verses used and how they are misused and have seen many try and prove this lie as truth. I know the book to well and the Spirit becomes agitated when I expose it to such illusion to such denial to such lies.
