  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Today I had a sonogram at 10 weeks and a couple days, my baby was going crazy. Baby was literally bouncing it's whole body up and down, moving it's arms and legs everywhere. It was hilarious! ^_^ The lady doing my sonogram said it was the most active baby they've had today. Could this be a sign of things to come? Will this little one be keeping me up at night kicking like crazy? Has anyone else seen their baby so active this early?

With my daughter I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks 4 days and she was all over the place. She was a very active baby and once I started feeling her move regularly at 18 weeks she never stopped. She came out a very strong baby (could hold her head up when she was born) and it must have been from all that exercise in utero :D She was also walking at 9 months, running at 10 months and is just a very active and physically able child. I'm 26 weeks with baby number 2 now and feel the baby only once or twice a day so I'm wondering if this one is going to be less active than my daughter was/is.

I didn't have an ultrasound that early and won't let them do one unless there is a really good reason. But once I started feeling his movements he was a crazy one. I had an ultrasound at 20/21 weeks and found out the sex while they checked the heart for 4 chambers etc., that was fun. Congratulations... seeing your baby is fun. :)

My baby runs a marathon every day...hardly ever stops moving...I reckon it'll be born with rugby players' legs and a six pack!:D

It's also got a deadly accuarate aim! Kicked the monitor on two separate occasions while they were chasing bub around to get a heartbeat...

My baby had me worried a couple of days ago, it changed it's normal movement patterns.. .it went from very strong kicking sessions 2 or 3 times a day too very gentle kicking and moving. But it's all ok . . apparently I had a temperature and the raised temp could have made the baby sleepier and more sluggish then normal . . . plus it's been so freaking hot.

It's back to kicking me to heck now - it hurts now it's not funny.

It could be a sign of things to come.. I had an early ultrasound at 13 weeks and the women couldn't believe how active my baby was. She was laughing saying how he wouldn't stay still long enough. I'm 25 weeks now and my baby is still very active.. to the point where it can be very hard to sleep at night because of the constant kicking and moving around. I love it ;)

I'm having twins and I get an ultrasound at every appointment. At my ten-week appointment, I could see one of them just laying being very calm and quiet while the other was doing some kung fu- turns out the one being quiet is a girl and the one doing kung fu is a boy. When I had my appointment a few days ago, I had a different doctor so I didn't get an ultrasound, but she used the doppler and had a heck of a time cornering them. They were so active, we could hear them move on the doppler because it would make a high pitch noise, but she really had a hard time with the heart beat and was amazed at how active these little guys are.
