And you said you had only been to real doctors. Sorry but psychologists aren't doctors and you shouldn't see one for any reason other than counseling. No matter what they try to make you believe. On the other hand if your internists can't make a diagnosis you may want to try a psychiatrist. A psychiatrist is a real doctor and there are many somatoform disorders that can cause physical pain that your internist wouldn't know about. That said your internist assumes you are lying, even if they don't say so.1 I've been to a psychologist.
This is a bit of a weird statement. But maybe there is a difference here between the Netherlands and the US. While psychologists in the Netherlands aren't doctors, they do have training in the recognizing or treating somatoform disorders. They will regularly work together with psychiatrists, especially if medicines need to be prescribed (psychologists are not allowed to prescribe medicines). So unless the American system is very different from the Dutch system, I don't really see why she shouldn't go to a psychologist for a possibly somatoform disorder. And you said you had only been to real doctors. O must have really misread that I thought she said it wasn't migraines. This is purely hypothetical of course, since she already stated she has a status migraine, so we know her disease is not somatoform.

The response to the naturopath was an overwhelming agreement that it is a waste of your time and money and that you need real medical attention.
I don't know how the American system works, but it might be worth a try?Well, I ended up going to the naturopath. He did some kinesiology, massage therapy and acupuncture. It was okay. I still feel bad and have weird facial sensations. The emergency ward maybe my only hope. Do you think I should go?
The only time homeopathy would be the proper treatment is for a psychosomatic (somatoform) ailment - in such a case, it has a good chance of working since both the disease and the cure are imaginary.
I think Illivanilli's suggestion of keeping a migraine diary is very good one.
You are in pain, the conventional doctors can't or won't help you, you need to do what you feel is the next appropriate step in managing your health. Pray to God, ask His guidance, and do what you feel you need to do. I personally don't think homeopathy is evil or wrong. It is using natural methods to treat our bodies instead of poisoning ourselves with a bunch of pills with a list of side effects that are worse than the condition we are trying to treat.
Sorry you are experiencing this pain - I will keep you in my prayers!
But it's only natural to treat an imaginary pain with an imaginary medicine.Homeopathy is not the same thing as "natural methods". You should research true homeopathy. It's history and "science" is quite interesting.

Alternative medicine that works is called "medicine". There is not one thing homeopathy can cure that isn't psychosomatic. It's water! There is nothing wrong morally or ethically with going to a holistic doctor.
I'm sorry there are so many cynics, and I'm honestly surprised by the ignorance regarding alternative medicine in this thread - but natural remedies have been proven to work, homeopathy is a wonderful way to aid a myriad of health issues as is herbalism.
People like to forget that almost all medicine has its roots in herbalism - it's like advil just magically showed up and previous to that there were no painkillers available.
Do some research and I would really recommend going to a homeopath or naturopath.
Peace,
