Going through a dark night

I am going through a very dark time right now..........depression, insomnia, anxiety, hopelessness. I'm wondering if God has forgotten me. I feel like I don't matter very much.

Praying for you! For some reason the song I learned as a child came to mind! Maybe you remember it or learned it! It went like this:
Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong, we are weak but He is strong!
That was part of it. Helps to remember that in times of need! We sang it with all our hearts when we were young children. Maybe we should still sing it!
Listen to what Little Flower is saying above in her post to you! That is very good advice and much comfort!

God cares about all the birds in the sky enough to keep them fed. How much more do you think He cares for you? His love for you is unmeasurable. Sometimes we go through these times to bring us closer to God. Just read the book of Job. God promises that He will NEVER leave us. I am giving you homework. Open up your bible and read Psalm 6 a few times then turn it to Psalm 40 and read it a few times. May God speak to your heart as you read!
