Does anyone face the problem where their need to stay within Gods will, or following Gods will is taken too far?
What I mean is, sometimes I find myself completely indecisive about things others wouldn't feel too phased about?
e.g. "should I ask her out?" Is the only one to spring to mind atm. Now, this would be normal. But labouring for 3-4 weeks, with the same question ("should I? Is it in Gods will?")?
Or, sometimes I may be on a train, and be convinced that God doesn't want me to sit over here, but over there. Or I may have the urge to turn down a certain street when travelling through town.
I know that sometimes these are a legit calling of the spirit. But most often than not they aren't.
Do you guys experience this? How do you discern weather it's OCD or the Spirit?
thanks,

i pucture this because our thinking is searching lies from truth, right from wrong, encouraging from discouraging.... we are so incedibly hard on ourselfs at times. measuring every little thing we do... oi. what a job. lol. God takes pleasure in you for just being His. we all are so stubborn at learning spiritual things. the Lord will teach you. it takes time. and since we never stop learning and growing: lower your exspectations just enough to remember He's incharge of changing our bad habits and flaws. we can't figure it out without His amazing compassion to paciently teach us: all while He is holding our Salvation out to us as a gift. xo dee
