God Loves us and wants to change us.

But how many of us are disheartened and discouraged and have lost hope that things will ever change in our lives.

This is because we are in a battle and John 10:10a says The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy and he does this by sowing doubt and despair in our hearts which takes away our hope and confidence in God.

Please share Scriptures which will focus on God and which will restore our hope joy and confidence in Him.

Isaiah 40:25f

To whom then will you liken Me,
Or to whom shall I be equal?
Lift up your eyes on high
And see who has created these things.
Who brings out their host by number:
He calls them by name,
By the greatness of His might
And the strength of His power
Not one of them is missing?

Why do you say O Jacob
And speak O Israel:
My way is hidden from the Lord,
My just cause is passed over
by my God?

Have you not known
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints or grows weary
His understanding is unsearchable
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might
He increases their strength

Good thread, Karen.

God's divine circumstances can turn or don't turn people to God. People may despise it instead of embracing it. The Holy Spirit dwells in us with all the power and gifts of God, necessary to enable us to walk the noble, spiritual, Son-like life with God. True Faith is provided by God through the Holy Spirit by changing us from within. I have learned to understand the true nature of the Christian life which is unpredictable and expanding called "sanctification". God does not desire to destroy my will, but to sanctify “my will into His will”. The primary work of Christ in redemption is to justify and sanctify believers. During the sanctification process, Christians need spiritual training which is forming spiritual fruits that we need to arm themselves spiritually to wrestle against the world, the devil and the flesh.

As we Christians are training for our spiritual growth, we look NOT AT our faith but in Christ of WHO we have faith in, who is THE author and finisher.
