God used me more when I was a drug addict!

Early in my youth I was addicted to heroin and crack cocaine! I used to beg outside tube stations for money! I met all types of people moving them to give me money or just a loving comment. Looking back I feel God was using me to convict people to show me loving kindness etc!
Now I don't live that lifestyle my life has become so mundane and I no longer feel God is using me!
I know I have abused and hurt myself emotionally and physically and created lots of mental problems but I feel I was in a better position to be used by God when I was a down and out and a waste of space comments

No friend believe me, I was trying to get you out giving that testimony so you can reach the multitudes of druggies. You were the one I was looking for as a jail chaplain to give a testimony and share some hope :]

Please know that there is healing in helping Friend. You can lay around all day and wish and hope, But if you will put your wish to shoe leather and put it to work, God will bless it. Believe me you will catch a lot more fish if your hook is in the water :]

What I mean is when I was a drug addict Looking back , God was in control because my situation caused I believe ! Many to feel convicted of sin and also a lesson causing others not to be like me! I was a teacher without realising it! Abusing myself I believe helped othersother ! I was the truth of evil right before their eyes!

I used to beg homeless shelters and soup kitchens. Life is better now that I do not need to beg. It was good to take food to the homeless shelter food pantry rather than take food out of it.

"It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:34-35

I'm not out yet! The damage is done! But I do yearn to be used again! But strange as it sounds I got used more when I sinned and was an example of not what to be! I loved it and miss it!

I'm just stuck in a room 24/7 now! No use for anything! At least when I was at by the worlds standards at my lowest! I wasn't I was a sinful drug user and a powerful teacher!
