It is false to say that accepting evolution rejects God as creator. It can mean one sees that God created using evolution.
Saying things that are false over and over in defense of one's religion is a dangerous game, if you are caught at it what does it say about your own spirituality?

Probably in that as the brain developed it became able to form religious beliefs. Many feel this is where God gave humans souls.

Not to sound ridiculous, but aliens, for one. Feel free to insert an Ancient Aliens reference into that if you wish. In any case, even for those who are naturalists, that doesn't mean they have to be nihilists. And never neglect to account for people who just don't think about philosophy all that much.
Aliens would still have to account for the presence or the absence of a 'you' though. Wouldn't it?
