Anyone believe otherwise?
I believe otherwise.

I do too ..

edit: God "ordained" the Fall, but He didn't coerce our progenitors into disregarding the one commandment He personally gave to them to keep (Genesis 2:16-17), and He didn't cause Satan to tempt them. They all chose to do that of their own volition.

Rather, God created us in His own [perfect] image (Genesis 1:27). IOW, He made us "upright" .. but we, in the now tarnished/fallen image of our first parents, have all sought out many evil devices (Ecclesiastes 7:29).

1 Corinthians 2:7, 1 Peter 1:20 & 2 Timothy 1:9 are some.

Those verses concern predestination, but they don't teach us that God "caused" Adam to sin.

Got something else?

God pre-destined us to fall

it depends on what is meant by "God", because the biblical word "God" indicates:

- the true God, Whose nature is absolutely good and not a bit evil

- the divine as a whole, i.e. the true Lord God and the "darkness" viewed and presented as a mechanism of interaction between them and its impact on humans

so it is not possible that the true God predestine(d) us to fall, but it could be said that humans were predestined by "God" in the second sense of the word described above and used in such biblical verses/passages as Romans 1:24-31

Blessings

I'll add this since God definitions have entered into the discussion. :)
