Exodus 34:
La 3:
1P 1:
Ex 33:

For the purpose of doctrine and argumentation, I would not affirm it. To affirm it in some context is misleading.
It didn't say "Most Merciful".6 The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful
Moreover, God held people accountable.and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, 7 keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty.
La 3:
The Book of Lamentations was poetic. That's hyperbole.22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
Ep 2:23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Didn't say "most merciful".4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us.
1P 1:
It didn't say "most merciful". While the Bible frequently emphasized God's mercy, it did not explicitly use the phrase "most merciful". Instead, it emphasized the greatness, richness, and steadfastness of His mercy in relational terms. In comparative terms, the LORD is the Most High God (Ps 47:2).3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Ex 33:
God shows mercy according to his sovereign will.19 He said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘The LORD.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.

Is God the most merciful?I don’t understand how someone who characterizes himself as the Most Merciful can simply banish people to hell simply for not believing.
