God is Good ((Boxing Thread))

Hey all. God has been good to me since I have accepted him back in my life. I have my first boxing match on June 27th. The "Stars Aligned" so to speak. So I get to spar twice a week with the best guy in the gym (who is really busy usually).

This has been a dream of mine for years. Just thought I'd share the good news!

Thanks, its my first amateur fight. The guy I sparred with really took it to me. But it made me better at least. haha.

Boxing is of God you have to be able to defend yourself and others in this cruel hard world we live in. I know I can defend my loved ones from a man who wants to hurt them.

Wow your first amatuer bout you must be thrilled to actually be near the day when it happens. I know I would be, if I was boxing for the first time, and real excited and pumped up too. God be with you and in your corner when the time comes. I hope you are ready.

Right. Anywho, the fight didn't happen. They couldn't find any one for me. I guess thats God's way of saying hold your horses! haha.

I can do the first part, I always seem to get caught out on the second part. Problem is those other guys try so darn hard

careful about boxing... God didn't design our minds to be hit up too many times =0 our brains are like tofu soft... pray hard about boxing long term if you want to =)
