i sinned and now i'm really scared god won't forgive me and i don't know what to do

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sweetie god loves you so much he forgives you because of jesus gift of eternal life. I know this sounds like it may not help but god really loves you so so so much.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Do you know why its just to forgive you? It is because Jesus died for your sins. Your gonna fall short. we all fall short. Repent (turn away) from your sins and ask for forgivness. ask Him to teach you to walk in the Spirit. You can overcome anything. Your a conqueror.

Matthew 5:4
God comforts us when we mourn for our sins and for the loss of loved ones.
But we need to also acknowledge that we can be forgiven through the blood of Jesus Christ. You accept that blood by Faith. When I fall into sin, my heart falls apart, I for some reason am unable and very bad at forgiving myself to disobediance, I just am. So I rest on God and His promises and He comforts me and blesses me in exchange. Its pretty cool to rest on the Lord

But we live by faith. Its kind of the ignition key Heres a short story, I fell into lust the other week, tore me apart inside. It always does when something like this happens. I asked Gods forgivness, but lo and behold my faith was being tested at that very moment. I had all these feelings and thoughts of total condemnation. I think it caused a spike, I kinda went a little haywire. I rebuked it and rested on Gods promise. The Holy Spirit was poured out on me and made me better. All God wanted me was to rebuke these thoughts and rest on Him. Its that simple
God blesses me because of my contrite heart. (we dont all start out with one its the work of the Holy Spirit)
He understands we fall short, not that it makes it right but we are bound to fall into sin. especially when we use our own strength to stop (thats a whole other ballgame)
My point is God wants to comfort you, but you will find that rest and peace with Faith
