How must the Father feel,
Who fashioned in sheer delight
The blushing dawn
An eagle's flight,
The color of a buttercup?
Does He reminisce,
Recapturing the moment's bliss
When breathing life into His man,
The crowning of creation's plan?
How must the Father feel,
The Gracious, Mighty, Holy One,
When in spite of all He's done
It takes a trial, disease, or shame
For man to kneel and call His name?
How must the Father feel?
Who fashioned in sheer delight
The blushing dawn
An eagle's flight,
The color of a buttercup?
Does He reminisce,
Recapturing the moment's bliss
When breathing life into His man,
The crowning of creation's plan?
How must the Father feel,
The Gracious, Mighty, Holy One,
When in spite of all He's done
It takes a trial, disease, or shame
For man to kneel and call His name?
How must the Father feel?
