God and Hitler

Forgive me for asking this question but someone asked me this question and it's been disturbing me. The reason I’m asking in the obob is because I think you guys give the best answers out of all the forums.
Someone told me the God you serve is like Hitler he wiped out races because they were not Jews he also killed women just because they were not virgins and killed babies (numbers 31).
How would you answer this?
