  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Go ahead. Ask. :)

I'll just combine the first three, ok? Well, Finland is cold and dark every winter; if we get lucky there's some snow and it looks as if it weren't night all day LOL. Summers are warm, but the fact that the sun is up all day and night makes it a little difficult to sleep sometimes.. If you ask me, the center of all life in the the country would lie in Helsinki and the rest is rather void and unimportant. I might be a little biased since I live right next to it and will be moving there soonish. Anyways, what I don't like about Finland is the weather and that everything's so expensive. What I do like is the education system, which has much more logic then other European systems I know of and is free of charge (obviously).

I found CF from Google I think... I wanted some change since I went to a Finnish forum (I still do sometimes) but it was rather boring since everyone kind of agreed on everything since most would belong to the same church anyways, and to another international one, where everyone seemed to be extreme fundamentalists, which then again was a little distracting. :D

Yesterday I laughed at some joke my friend told me. :) I can't remember what it was, I think it had something to do with kids.

Are you afraid of heights?
YES. I'm more afraid of heights then anything else I can think of, even snakes or big spiders.

What's your most missed memory?
OK, this is going to sound weird, but I'm thinking of a week that I spent with my best friend a few years ago... We were visiting my grandparents and I can't think of the amount of awesomeness without either getting teary or cracking up LOL... Oh, and the funny part? During the week we spent our best moments in the sauna. xD

What color are your shoes?
Oh,I've got shoes in many colors LOL. My current favorite pair is black.

Have you ever been to Texas/US?
No, I'd love to visit at some point of my life though. ^_^

I haven't read the whole thread, so I hope I don't ask the same questions:

What is your favorite tree?
What's your favorite color? Why?
Would you ever run a marathon? Why or why not?

My favorite tree is the apple tree. :) Pines come close second.
My favorite color is dark blue (I know, boring!), because it's so calm and cool.
It's funny that you asked about the marathon... I've been thinking that I could actually run one just to be awesome like that and to beat my dad at it - I should in fact go ask for his record again since I've long forgotten it. I do like running too. :)

Its not boring at all. :)

What is your dads record? And what kind of marathon did you do? Just running?

Oh no, I haven't done it yet LOL... I'm still pretty far from running a marathon. I guess I'll go with good old Helsinki City Marathon in a few years or so; I still need to train a lot. My dad is such a dork, he apparently doesn't remember hes record! It was something just under 4 hours he thinks. :)

Thats really awesome!
I love to do something like that, but I don't think I have the discipline for it.

Okay, more questions:

If you could read the same book ten times what would it be?
What's the last song you listened too?
If you could choose one style of dance what would it be?

I think the Bible is a given... And I'll just assume you were talking about fiction anyways. ;) So the book I'd read ten times would be "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.
The last song I heard was a Finnish translation of Mighty to Save.
One type of dance... There's something cool about ballroom dancing, so I'll just go with that.

Chocolate or sweets?

Sweet or savoury?

Fiction or non-fiction?

Rock'n'roll or R'n'B?

Horror or rom-com?

Short questions or long ones? :p

OK, I have to make a few comments. First of all, I chose Horror because I don't know what rom-com means LOL. And then I don't necessarily want long questions but sometimes I prefer answering a bit longer. ;)
