  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Go ahead. Ask. :)

(Questions are from "If....Questions for the Game of Life.")

If you could inherit a vacation home anywhere in the world in which you could spend one month a year, but that you could never sell, where would it be?

Oh that's a toughie.. It needs to be somewhere where it's warm when it's cold in Finland. It needs to be on the coast but preferably not on an island... And it needs to be different from Finland otherwise as well, possibly not too touristic either. Hmm. Perhaps somewhere on the coast of Colombia. :)

Who are your favorite music artists ?

Who is your favorite Finnish politician ?

Which do you prefer: living in the big city, with the lively athmosphere and culture, or in the fresh air, calmness and peace of the rural areas ?

Who're your favorite modern theologians; which one has had the most influence on your thinking ?

Do you have any siblings ?

In which parts of world would you like to do missionary work?

Whats your favorite ice cream flavor? :p

My favorite music... Hmm. It goes in cycles usually. Now I like HB and Olli Helenius, but then I do also listen to a lot of classical music. Ask me tomorrow though and I'll have a different answer LOL.

Favorite politician? That's a tough one again. I'm not really a huge fan of Finnish politics. Overall I think I like Vihreät most as a party, but then I'm not really sure which one of them I like most; generally I'm more into their less radically green people like let's say Heidi Hautala and friends. I kind of have a candidate as well but I'm on the verge still so I'm not going to tell who it is. :)

If I had to choose between a huge city and the forest then I'd go with the forest but to be honest I'd prefer a small town with the access to both ends of the spectrum.

Well I don't have just one favorite in modern theologians either.. :sorry: Hans Küng seems interesting, even though I haven't read much from him quite yet. I also like the way the former bishop of Helsinki - Eero Huovinen - spoke and I think his theology is worth noting. I think however that most influences on my thinking have come from within the fifth revival movement; that's where I grew up.

I have a brother who's two years older than me. He's cool.

I don't know where I'd like to do missionary work, I think South America is overall fascinating as a continent but honestly I'll be happy to go wherever the Lord (and the church of course :p) will take me.

Well ice cream is usually good regardless of the flavor if the quality of the stuff is OK, so I prefer to name brands that are good. :sorry: For example Ben and Jerry's have some decent stuff (I dislike some of the non-ice cream particles in them though LOL. :p); for example the really chocolatey thing's awesome (I never remember teh names) and I also loved Bohemian Raspberry when they still had it. And then there's a few Italian places I like to have ice cream at as well. :)

Cool! A good friend of mine is the grandson of Urho Muroma :)

My mom likes Huovinen too, I haven't heard or read all that much from him, but he seems very sensible and profound from what I have gathered.

Different places might suit different life stages better, I don't foresee myself living in the middle of a huge city in my late 30's or 40's but you never know :p

I'm not all that much into the Finnish politics either; I dislike the fact that they always vote collectively according to a pre-made decision made within a given party, so you pretty much have like 2-3 different options, as far as important decisions go. Usually it's just the cabinet vs opposition. But I can't think of how to improve the system either so maybe I shouldn't complain ^^ Personally, I like A. Stubb just because of his competentence and understanding of world politics, not all that much into Kokoomus as a whole LoL :D

I don't know what my parents would have named me if I had been a guy... I should ask them once. If I had to choose, I would be Santeri, Johannes or Elias. ;)

I think I'd go with mozzarella cheese. :)

My greatest fear is that I'll screw up my studies really bad. If we're talking aout more regular stuff then it would absolutely be heights. I hate them.

I'm really proud of having cleared high school all fine despite all the mess I was going through at the time. I'm also proud of having faced some difficult stuff from my past recently. On a lighter note I once had the best ever moment in a riding lesson and I have to say I'm still a little proud of that. ;)

Smeagle. :ebil:
Voldemort. :burglar:
I think around 30 hours... I didn't count so strictly though
No not really, I've had some of those funny tubes in my ears and then I've had some of that extra stuff removed from my throat (still don't know what to call them LOL) and then I've had a small surgery done on my right hand when I was a baby - I had an extra finger so they removed it.
Scary? No. Weird? Well, maybe a few. :D Some of them seem to be quite deep in their theological spheres LOL so they're a bit difficult to understand and I could go on and on about this one... I'll tell you when you get here.
Rat. I'm afraid of snakes.
Piano. :)
