In Rev 1 John says he is sharing in their tribulation! His audience was in his generation, and he expected them to obey this word from Christ then and their, and not have to wait 2000 years for the message to become relevant. Instead, it's been relevant to the church the whole time.

What I see in Revelation are generic warnings about nature in chaos, and the general message that God uses natural disasters to remind humanity that we live in a state of judgement before Him. I do not see a single bit of the book as predicting specific events. Even the gospel message that the Lord will return is described, not predicted, 3 times in the last few chapters of Revelation.

Actually, last plague #4 (global warming) affects everybody. And it can well be argued that all of the 7 last plagues are man-made beginning with the plague of skin cancer which only affects those who worship the suntanned Aryan look, as Hitler the antichrist did.

No, I'm respecting God at His word, but while everything He says is absolutely true, we can't force the bible to talk about things we want it to cover. The bible simply doesn't predict this. It provides a foundation for thinking about it morally, but does not predict or describe this in particular the way it doesn't describe asbestosis or lead poisoning or AIDS or so many other things.

This global warming lie has the purpose and goal to diminish and destroy humanity on planet earth and to deceive people into believing that an over-arching global government, in control of all humans, is benevolent. It's the opposite of what God said and it's prophesied as evil! I pray you wake up before it's too late.

The 'man of lawlessness' is about not trusting in worldly, anti-God philosophies like Humanism or Hedonism or Relativism or many other anti-Christian 'isms'. It's got nothing to say about our relationship to government, and everything to say about false teachers.

Indeed, Paul exhorts Roman Christians to remember that the Roman government (yes, the ROMAN authorities!) were 'God's servants to do you good.' Now I'm glad we live under the rule of law in a democracy, I really am. But if Paul can describe the Roman Dictatorship as 'God's servants to do you good', how much more should we honour our elected government, with a balance of the media, government enquiries, and free citizens to all keep an eye on each other?

The fact that we have free citizens in a society of relatively free media in a government that cannot even keep internet spying secret is one of the reasons I'm slightly allergic to conspiracy theories lasting too long, because eventually the 'truth will out'. But not only that. I'm to pay my taxes, obey the law, and even honor my leaders! Just how are you obeying that command from God when you spread lies and hysteria like this?

God prophesied the end of the world. He said there would be a drought. He said the earth would reel like a drunkard. He said there's going to be cataclysmic cosmic events. He said people's hearts will fail from fear of what is coming on the earth. He said the devil would come up with a lie to deceive the people who do not love the truth and they would believe it.

The devil has to come up with some other explanation than the one God gives in the Bible for what is coming on the earth. Twenty years ago, it was an ice age.

1970s ice age predictions were predominantly media based. The majority of peer reviewed research at the time predicted warming due to increasing CO2.

What is happening on planet earth is not "global warming" or "climate change". It's exactly what GOD said. The wrath of God is coming because of the weight of sin on the earth. The earth will reel and shake because of mankind's sin - not because of carbon emissions.
