As I listen to prophecy teachers, it looks like this needs to happen
Auntie.
We have to be a part of the one world system and if we're financially
thriving, I see no reason to feel we have a need to join up.
Then again, we do have a liberal Govt. maybe they'd join up for no reason.

One month in, and he's already preaching on raising taxes & is
overspending on NON STIMULUS ear marks.
Real shocking.

I truly wish my husband would keep the n ews turned off becuz
I'm tired of having to keep repenting as I hear Obama's latest
speech on tv.
that man is on every single day saying something. & the more he
says, the more the stock market plunges. (that should be a clue)

It's time for me to play ostrich becuz I get too angry seeing his liberal
spending & ideals that tear down what this country once was.

How would you like to live in Calif. where our taxes already about the
highest in the country (now going UP yet again) - PLUS have him
raise federal taxes!
I'd LOVE to know the percentage for Californians once the tax hikes
are all implimented.

We might need to move to Texas & get out of this state or something.
They say people are leaving in droves

Nadine, I didn't realize you live in Calif. I hear it's pretty bad there!

it's going to be bad here when they raise these taxes.
We're taxed to death as it is... sorry but I'll NEVER vote democrat.
It seems every state they get their hands on to run fall into
massive debt & they just grab more $$ from the people instead of
cutting crap they just can't bear to cut with the Robin Hood
politics: take from those who work hard & give it to everyone else.

The entire country is in trouble becuz of overspending & greed; its
sure not just here.

I enjoy Beck's television and radio programs more than I ever did Limbaugh's or Hannity's.

same here, sometimes Beck gets a little crazy and paranoid imo,but usually he is very entertaining and reports the real news.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. Every...single...day...

Reading those speeches so eloquently from the teleprompter with his head going back and forth from one to the other. Like he's watching a tennis match.

I've thought showed some signs of paranoia too - not that I don't
think it's very possible that he's correct,
just that it seems a little on the paranoid side to me.

(but it's nice to see others are worse than me) ^_^

& by the way, let's get real here, democrats aren't voting
for democrats anymore; not who democrats USED to be.

They're voting for far left liberals. Quite a difference imo.

Nope. They're voting for those opening the door for communism. Liberalism is a hijacked term by those who desire socialist programs. They don't propose freedom to pursue beliefs and practices unhindered by those who are more orthodox, moral or traditional. Anyone who disagrees with them is subject to oppression. They left liberalism behind some time ago.

Look at the legislation being proposed by Dems to deny both First and Second Amendment rights while they have the congressional majority. That's the roots of communism, folks, and our willingness to defend our constitution and the USA as it was founded is being tested in a way many of us have never experienced before. How will future generations view our defense of it? Father, we need your help.

You pretty well summed up my thoughts and fears. In a few years all our constitution will be is an ancient historical document that has been vetoed and put into history. Who I fear for most are my kids and grand kids, and of course all that generation. I really doubt if we will have freedom of worship 4 years from now. The current administration won't stop until we have a gestopo type government. They believe that common people don't have the ability of right to think for themselves or have any input into how their countrie's government operates.

I also think Obama will lead us into a world govenmnet. This was the gist of speech when he spoke at the college in Germany during his campaign.

Not to worry, Jim, it can be undone. Maybe this is the wake up call many complacent American's needed to see just how far removed from the Founding Father's ideals we have come.

Honestly, the more extreme this administration is, the more likely it is to ensure it's defeated in 2012. Keep in mind, too, that there are congressional elections soon and the balance can be returned to conservatives before the next presidential election. We need to keep praying and making sure voters know how important it is to knock the legs out from under those who would destroy what the USA should be.

I thank you for your optimism Porter but I don't think the minoroties (who are in power) care 2 cents for our founding fathers or our constitution. The free ride is all they have in mind, and of course Obama has the majority of immoral people backing him as well, but I will hold out hope that conservatives gain in the next congressional election as you suggested

I'm really not as doom and gloom as I sound, I just know that Satan has never had as fine a moment as he has now, criminals, gays, terrorists and abortionists and all are celebrating

couldn't get the vid to work Nadiine, but I'm amazed watching the news. Now, I'm really not the brightest bulb around when it comes to international, or even national, financial strategy, but I can't see how just printing more money and pouring it into a black hole is going to help?!?!?!

I hate when that happens.

Strangely, the vid is working for me (I'm usually the one that cant' get it to play) lol
I think things are getting very scary at this point for America's future.

exciting times indeed!
ya they really are - but in a scary way.

Why do I have this fear when God tells us not to fear?

(& it scares me that I fear about what's ahead) lol :p

But seriously, just this am. on Fox, I saw that the
British PM contacted Obama about a meeting on global
economy.

British PM hopes for economic pact in Obama talks

The Associated Press - ‎Feb 28, 2009‎
LONDON (AP) — British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Saturday he will try to forge a global pact to buck the global economic downturn during talks with US ...
