Giving Cats Baths

In my home we had a cattery (over 27 cats at any given moment) and a kennel (over 20 dogs), we raised pet and show stock in Siamese and Abbys, and German Shepards, Schnauzers, Cockers and Cairn Terriers for nearly 15 years.

That was quite a shocking revelation!!! Wait until the rest of the Messianic gang finds out a respectful Messianic lady has been raising unclean animals at home!!!

BTW, yesterday I adopted a little white kosher kitten (2 months old). I wanted to give it a Hebrew name... any suggestions?

I've found that using a hand held shower head as opposed to a tub of water has helped. When I hold it up right against the cats, they stop squirming quite a bit... It's still not their favorite thing, by any means, but they seem to tolerate it a little better.

I tried to bath one of my old cats once, he freaked out big style and scratched the heck out of me! So I never tried to again, thankfully all my cats have been short haired breeds so bathing has not been required since!
