CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

LOL! Right now paperwork to file covers the floor of one enitire room. I hired the kids to sort the papers into stacks (make them match) for $2 each (to earn money for the upcoming trip). Now I have to file it all.
They did a pretty good job. It took them about 2 hours, while I was making supper, mending some clothing, and doing bills.
So, today, laundry, filing, more packing, more sewing and making it to a school presentation of my middle child by 2:30 p.m.

pick up my coat that was being altered (the woman promised it 2 weeks ago);
bake or pick up some banana bread for my MOPS meeting on thursday;
take Stephen to preschool, then pick him up of course!
return movies to Blockbuster
pay bills.

Clean up the house - post kid's sleepover.

which included sorting through pantry and
re-organizing the shelves to get ready for Friday's
shopping bonanza
vacuumed
cleaned downstairs bathroom
organized toys in living room
my DH and i sorted through old computer software and hardware--
to be donated to a fellow co-worker
then we re-organized what was left
The boys were pretty good playing while we did all of this!

yeah...laundry...i still have a basket to fold, and two hampers are full again.
i haven't been able to do my labels/business cards for my Aunt's support group.
The file is on an old disc, and the new Vista won't open it up.
So i have to think of something else.
Also, i cannot get a hold of the seamstress who has my coat! Her voice mail is full...and her store is closed all the time...there's a note that says "the seamstress won't be taking any new orders for 3 weeks due to an overload of work....but she will be open for pick ups.
well......i've been there 3x and she is closed!! :o

Just reading these is exhausting.
Today I have 2 kids at home instead of 1, ds is sick and having the day off school. Ah well. First one this year so that's not too bad.
So it's going to be a quiet day. I have a little bit of washing to do, but nothing too major.

me and 3 of my cousins are planning a HUGE surprise 80th Birthday party for my Grandma. She is coming in from Florida for my brothers wedding and staying for 3 weeks and will be here for her birthday.
Today i need to plug all the addresses into excel, print off labels, put stamps on envelopes and return addresses and get the invites ready to mail. i also have to set up an evite for those with email addys. not too motivated at the moment. Grandma will be here tomorrow night so i HAVE to finish this before her arrival and have all the invitations out.
