CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

well I have loaded a lot of images into the petrescuers PB account inthe last folder - cf pets. I created new folders to organize them according to species. simply go and pick out whatever you would like to work with and download to your pc to work with. besides GiMP what other software are you using? I dont think my mspaint has all the capabilities it should have but I may be able to fiddle with what I have and see if I can come up with other ideas for all of us. also one thing I have recently learned if you choose to erase the background with a erase paint brush, you may want to enlarge the image, however rather than enlarging by actually changing the image size, try zooming in - this way you dont loose the pixels or clarity of the image and they stay truer to thier natural state here on CF.

I've been doing that...but I'm using Photoshop most of the time...there's a few things I can't do yet with it which I'm using Gimp for but most of the time I'm working with Photoshop....

DH was telling me last night, as he's fiddling around with graphics now without me that he's found that the PhotoBucket's picture editting is much more detailed, user friendly and forgiving...I've not heard this mentioned anywhere. Like I can get to Everything here Just wondering ya'lls thoughts on this if you have tried one vs. the other...

yes I took your advice and added folders for each type of pet this way we can see what ones we have more/less of and as they pop in and out of day care we can fill up with more variety/diversity of stages/color.
the animagted ones are from Gregged's profile and pet preview, I cant take credit for them!!

yes I have just started trying the PB editor but for some reason it does not save the image with the edits but instead reverts back to last saved pic - even when I delete cookies and refresh - still fiddling with it - they just added this feature very recently.

Yes, it's new. I did have a second last week and was so excited to see this feature that I tried to edit an animation. Worked quite well, with patience and a little determination, but then the animation stopped

Yeah, I have a site saved to my faves (there for a very long time now...probabley since Team Grace's start) just don't have the time to read it. One of those that Seems long and complicated. Maybe it's not though once one gets started. One of my passions for SURE, DH is having fun, but not very productive either Yet Maybe I can copy and paste it here later.

hmmm...no idea...never tried - but I think it's most likely a javascript running in the background and we're not allowed javascripts on our profiles....
