  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hey All!

I had a quick question. I am coming home in a couple weeks and I was wondering if you guys/gals can help me think of some things I could do for, or give to, my wife when I get home. She doesn't know exactly when I am coming home, so that gives me a lot of play. I've already thought of flowers, but that's a given. Any suggestions?

Hmm
I would go with something to pamper her, maybe some lotions or somthing like that.

One of my fave gifts my Dh has given me is Night Lights, its a devotional for couples written by James Dobson and his wife. It has made a wonderful difference in our marriage. It really meant alot to me that Hubby was thinking about our marriage and wanting to make it everything that God wanted it to be. So him giving me the book showed me that he valued me and our realtionship enough to give a little extra time to it.

My husband and I just celebrated our 6th annniversary yesterday. He got a basket and some wooden skewers and green pipe cleaners, a bag of chocolates and some lollipops and made me a candy basket (Like flowers only candy. It's really cute.) And he bought me the lotion and body spray in a new scent that I've been asking for. :)

Other fav. presents include Precious Moments figurines (He'll pick one with a name that suits the occasion), jewlrey, and books (like Chicken soup for a Woman's Soul).

Good Luck finding the perfect gift. I'm sure she'll just love seeing you.

What ever you decide will be perfect, What I usually do is get her something from where I've been, and some things that I know she likes. The main thing is you know your wife and the things that make her Melt in your arms so let the gift Jump out at you.

PS. Mail a card right befor you come home like a Day or the Day you leave telling her about your love and then, After your home she would get this card or letter then you'll see the Results it just Makes her Day Agian.

Coming home should be enough! If not, diamonds work!
lol. I am a jewellery fan too. Not big expensive items, little delicate ones. But that depends on the budget too. I like the idea of posting a love letter. That's one I would be happy to see too.

Is there something that she has been wanting to learn? Like ballroom dancing or something...you could sign the both of you up, and learn to do it together!!
