Well, your Anglican Priestess daughter's comments aside, I know Catholic Priests who have performed them and when the little girl's eyes turned red, her voice turned into a man's voice, and it took four grown men to hold the girl down, it was pretty obviously not a mental disorder or someone abusing her.

And yes, priests work with medical professionals to distinguish between illness and demonic activity. I'm sure some things are misdiagnosed and are not demonic, now and in the past, but some are, and you shouldn't discount the real because of the fake. Nor should you think those ghosts are friendly.

I can only speak from my own experience. I have no problem with the 'happenings' in our home. I don't know if you have had any direct experience yourself? It looks as if your views on this sort of thing are culled from other people's experiences, not your own, but I could be wrong?

BTW a priestess implies something other than what my daughter is, which is a priest!

Again, I don't really know what you are expecting to gain by these fabricated photos, except trick those people who for reasons unknown want to believe in spooks. (yes I have photoshop too)

Wow, cool...I would love to see more photos like this. I don't live in a haunted house but I have had some pictures taken which have turned out oddly, such as showing an aura type light around figures or a weird light. Other pics with the same camera don't have the same features. There is also one of me which I really like, from when I was four. I am sitting on a swing and my head is to the side like I am watching something, and there is a translucent figure of a teenage boy talking to me. Kind of neat and no one knows how it happened. If I can find a way to scan it I will...

The photos are NOT fabricated and most are taken on a regular camera. However, I don't really care very much whether folk think they are real or fake, it is what I think about it that counts. We are not making any money out of our haunted house. As I have stated before, we would be really stupid to make up such a story when it could mean it makes it difficult to sell our house in the future!!!

Tang, it is a shame your friendly thread about an interesting topic is ruined by people who have a desire to argue and force their opinion down anothers throat even when it isn't desired. It is funny, in real life, if you are asked to be left alone, and someone keeps harrassing you, you can file charges. Thanks that is kind of you StheS. If it was just the photos I could well believe folk being sceptical. However, they are an extremely small part of the phenomena in our house. We have a large wooden owl, approx 182lbs. which goes walkabout around our home, as does a tombstone which smells of perfume. Add this to apparitions, writing and carving on walls and lots, lots more and you get the picture, LOL!!!!

Im not trying to bash what you are saying. I just don't beleive 90% of the stuff i see on internet forums...its just something i don't do. Some of the stuff you talk about is very odd and you will find that a majority will not believe a word you say. this is a photography section not a section to discuss what your house, such as that a fatty owl that moves by itself around you house or whatever.....im here to cretique pictures and admire photography by others on this board. this isn't a place on this board to discuss this kinda stuff....its for photography. sorry

I can explain the first one but that is it because I can't see the second one.

Have you ever gone outside when it is raining or snowing and took a picture with the flash on? The snow or rain will be the main focus of the shot. Just like the dust in the first photo. I see you used your flash and it caught the dust particles just right. It even looks like it was set up.

I could be wrong. But that is my experience with photography.

Jesus, mentally ill or going with the flow of the times. LOL... sorry it just seems a bit far fetched to believe that Jesus was going with the flow. He is God and sees and knows all. Just something to think about.

Try making your photo under 500 in width or height. It takes forever to view it and it is to large for my monitor to see the whole shot othewise. Thanks!

I posted this in another thread, but I'll put the little guy here. seems mor appropriate place for him, her, it.... whatever!

In case you can't find it... its on the right side, a little gray face with 2 beady eyes, about 2/3 the way down from the top.

I took this photo in Maine several years ago. I was trying to photograph a Chipmunk, which I can't find anywhere in the pic. When I developed the film I found this little gray creature staring at me. A graphic artist enlarged & filtered this photo and said the face is too symetrical to be a random pattern. He said what it is is "unknown."

If you knew a friend was going to drive while being drunk would you give him or her the keys and say it's ok...it is not my place to say you can not drive?

Just like this situation, these folks are taking the keys to hell away from her.

The Devil is very sneaking and can be very manipulitive. Some folks don't even see it. That is why other Christians need to pull them back to the Lord.

I am quite happy with the crosses all over the place, they are there in reality. We have a stain that appears to be the face of the crucified Christ that appeared on the stonework of the fireplace this morning, how can that be evil?
