  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Thanks for that link, Mayzoo. Very informative!

You know, Isaiah (my autistic one) has been quite hyper today. Or actually this week. My son Luke used to be a very hyper toddler, going around, exploring everything...right down to jumping on my dad's lap whenever we were visiting my parents. Now, at age 10, his hyperness has pretty much disappeared and he's mellowed out alot.

On the other hand, I have a nephew who is exactly one year younger than Luke and STILL has that hyperness in him. This kid is already in basketball and soccer so he has some sort of outlet for his activeness/hyperness. My sister refuses to believe anything related to ADD. But I mean, a classic example is, although there's a year's difference between the 2 boys...mine's already settled down whereas her's hasn't. Know what I mean? I wouldn't diagnose a 3 yr old boy with ADD, because most times it's just natural for them to be hyper and active now, but will most likely mellow out as they mature and learn to keep themselves busy and keep their minds preoccupied rather than driving mom crazy.

Cutting out dairy is a good idea to see if it will make a difference. You can always try.

GFCF diet works it has been the best thing we have ever done for my sons health. My son was agressive before the diet & he was having vomiting issues. The issues are not always the same for each child but please if you try the diet you need to stick to it for three to four months before there is a big change. we have gone off the diet to see if the changes were really & i tell you we are believers.
