CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Um Actually... I'm from New York... I've just lived 7 years in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. You sort of pick up some things. LOL Sorry.

ello. Ive been on cf for a while, but not in the single's ministry all that much. Anyway, i live in the states, im 20, going for my middle school education degree in math and english. My side giftings are poetry, i can play a little sax, and creativity in general. I tend to be rather "unchurchy" if u will a lot of times, and have a bit of a hard time sometimes getting close to people that are. Not at all meaning ungodly, just not as much people who all they spout is talking about God's goodness and about his grace and blessings in their life (Oh, God's grace is so prevalent in my life. And his grace did this for me. And yest his grace did that for me). And about the soteriogoly of the eschatology and all that stuff. Anyway, im currently going halftime to college, looking for a job i can work in my spare days, and spend a lot of time playing city of heroes online.
