This thread is the foundation upon which the brothers and sisters of the Body of Yeshua may build and, understand the importance of biblical world history and chronology, and will serve to help bolster their faith and boldness in proclaiming the Word of God confidently and know that they can rest assured that what they have is from God and can be relied on for everything. I shall demonstrate that you can arrive at the truth by applying a straightforward no-nonsense approach.

To begin we must understand that if you wish to know about the history of anything then you must consult the written word or those who know the history of the thing about which you are inquiring about. Once you have the narrative sorted out you must then piece together all of the information you have gathered from your various sources and align them in chronological order by using the time and place given for which a particular event occured or a person performed a certain action or deed.

As for where you get your sources they must be from official sources, so if you want to learn about the luminaries your best primary source would be God who is the of the Creator of the world; your next best source would be the astronomers who served in the palaces of kings who study the knowledge of the law of the stars in the heavens as their observations must be made truthful and be laid up in the official archives of their government; the next best would be to consult the historians who specifically write about the subject of astronomy, and finally from here you would organize your data from ancient to modern in order to see which of the written records is closest to the time God would have created the heavens and the earth and placed the luminaries in the heavens on the 4th Day.

Naturally this would lead us to the Bible which today is divided into two major parts:

1) New Testament
2) Old Testament

You would not consult the Christians for they're origin is in the Church which was founded by Christ around the year 30 AD. Who is Christ Yeshua? According to the Gosepls He is a Jew descended from the tribe of Judah. This now leads us to the Jews who are also from the same tribe, so why are they called Jews? Becuase that is the name which lets others know they are from the tribe of Judah. Where is Judah located and why is it called Judah? It is located in Israel which is the name God gave to Jacob who is the father of Judah and his other eleven brothers, whose names make up the 12 Tribes of Israel.

Now Jacob is the son of Isaac, who is the son of Abraham the Hebrew , whose name comes from the ancestor of the Hebrews Heber, who is from the line of Shem the second son of Noah. So then we have learned the following about the people of Israel:

Israel = Nation
Jew = Judah = 4th Tribe of Israel = 4th Son of Jacob
Hebrew = Ethnicity
Heber = Ancestor of the Hebrews
Shem = Semite = Semitic

If we trace back further we will see that Noah is from the line of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. Therefore it is undeniable that the origins of the Church begin with Christ whose early history is recorded in the Gospels. The ancestry of Christ is in the tribe of Judah from whom all Jews descend, and is one of the twelve Hebrew tribes of Israel who are each named after the twelve sons of Israel or Jacob; and since this goes back to Seth, and finally Adam we have conclusively proven that the Church relies on Jesus being historical, and the Jews of today have no claim to Israel unless the rest of their ancestors are also historical.

If anyone asks for proof of God and Christ I will reply with the same words as Blaise Pascal:

"Your highness, the Jews, the Jews."

It should be clear to even the slowest of learners that Adam is the closest person who lived exactly two days after God created the luminaries on the 4th Day which also marks the first day of the solar year and the 1st Day of the 1st Month:

Year 1
1st Month
01 02 03 04 05 06 07
_________01 02 03 04 (Adam created on the 6th Day)

The closest written account we have which speaks of the life of Adam and Eve specifically are the Lives of Adam and Eve, and the 1st and 2nd Books of Adam and Eve. These three give the most intimate details of what happened after they were banished from Eden, and give more insight into the lines of Seth and Cain. The next closest source would be the Book of Enoch, specifically 1 Enoch, not to be confused with the forgeries like 2 Enoch also known as The Secrets of Enoch, and 3 Enoch; the others which are also not found in Scripture are the books of Jasher, and Jubilees. Despite the personal views and beliefs of the general public the Dead Sea Scrolls confirmed 1 Enoch, Jubilees, and Jasher, along with all of the other Old Testament books with which we are familiar, with the exception of Esther, from whose book the Jewish holiday Purim is found. What the connection between the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947 AD and the nation of Israel returning to their homeland in 1948 AD is who knows? But it's too close to be coincdental. Our best source then for the accounts of the time from Adam to the Exodus would be none other than Moses who gave the Law to Israel on Mt. Sinai, and this cannot be contested, the secondary sources would be the Prophets who lived during the times of Joshua on through the rise and fall of the kingdoms of Israel and Judah when king Nebuchadnezzar burned the temple built by Solomon and the holy city Jerusalem. The history of the Hebrews are picked up by the Maccabees of which they have around four books which are found in the Septuagint and four others which are not so well known, for a total of eight books which cover the death of Alexander the Great, the division of his kingdom among his four generals, and the battles between Antiochus and Seleucis, and the Maccabean revolt from which the holiday Channukah was born.

From here the Gospels would pick up the narrative of the Jews. And it is in these four books that show us the birth of Christ as foretold by the Moses and the Prophets who was born during the latter reign of Augusts Caesar. The rest of the books of the New Testament narrate the ascension of Yeshua to heaven 40 Days after His resurrection from the dead; and cover some of their acts and problems within the Church. In short the New Testament covers the time from Augustus Caesar all the way to the Roman Emperor Domitian who banished the apostle John to the isle of Patmos where he received his vision of the end times, and where we get the book of Revelation.

The Bible then covers the history of the Hebrews from Adam all the way to the Apostle John, and their histories may be verified with the six world empires under whom they were subjected to:

1) Egypt
2) Assyria
3) Babylon
4) Medo-Persia
5) Greece
6) Rome

Manetho is the Egyptian historian who refers to the Hebrews as Hyksos; the Assyrians and Babylonian clay tablets we have confirm in their chronicles that their numbers agree with what we read of in the books of the Kings, Chronicles, and the prophets, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Zachariah, Haggai, Ezra, and Nehemiah. And the Babylonian priest of Bel Berossus mentions the Jews in his historical writings as he and Manetho both flourished during the time after Alexander died and contributed to the legendary Library of Alexandria during the time of Ptolemy II Philadelphus. Their writings are mentioned by the Jewish Roman historian Flavius Josephus in his Antiquity of the Jews. It should also be mentioned that during the time of Ptolemy II Philadelphus he commisioned Eleazar the High Priest and 72 Elders from the 12 Tribes of Israel to officially translate the Hebrew Scriptures into Greek; the source of this story is in the Letter of Aristeas which was written around -284 BC when Ptolemy II began his reign in Alexadria, Egypt; and is confirmed by Philo of Alexandria (c. 25 BC-50 AD), Josephus (c. 37 AD-100 AD) both being the earliest witnesses to the Greek Scriptures; and this same story would later be repeated by Julius Africanus, Eusebius, Jerome, Origen, Sulpitius Severus, St. Epiphianus, Eutychius of Alexandria, and Agapius, just to name a few.

Now the life of Christ not only aligns with the Greek Olympiads and the number of years from the founding of Rome--these two dates were in wide use among the Romans, Greeks, and Jews--but are also confirmed in the writings of Josephus and Tacitus who were both contemporary historians who would have lived closest to the time of Christ and the early Christian Church. Their stories are also confirmed by Eusbeius and the other writers I have mentioned, as their histories and chronicles align as it concerns the Roman Emperors from Augustus to the destruction of the second Temple by Titus in 70 AD.

And while many don't agree with everything which Eusebius tells us, he is the earliest eye witness we have to the early history of the first 300 Years of the Church and in his chronicles covers the time from Adam all to the way to the 20th Anniversary of Constantius which he says occured 300 Years after the death of Christ. So without Eusebius we cannot connect the rest of Church history to our present day, nor understand the early years of our brothers and sisters.

It should be abundantly clear at this point that whoever says you cannot rely upon the Bible to accurately tell you about world history, nor can you corroborate any of its historical statements with the histories of other peoples...I would simply chuckle at and label as mad. You cannot seriously talk about current world events without knowing biblical world history and chronology. You can't even talk about Christianity, Islam, or Judaism without knowing your Bible thoroughly.

And it is not Google which will tie all of the years of world history together, but the Anno Mundi years found in the Word of God which do: for the Word of God is the foundation for the history and chronology of the world. Why is this so? Because the aforementioned world empires didn't care abot how many years there were Before Christ...only the Bible cares about that becuase the Bible prophesied exactly when Yehsua the Messiah the Son of God, born of the virgin Mary would come into the world and die for the forgiveness of our sins, and rise from the dead on the 3rd Day as the prophets also stated. And it is this same Yeshua Messiah who will return to establish His Kingdom on the earth and rule wth a rod of iron. This is the good news and promise we have, that those who die in faithfulness to God and Christ will enter into His rest in the new heavens and the new earth where we will live in peace forever.

Let all mockers, scoffers, unbelievers, and like people be forever accursed!
