  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Not entirely sure what you mean by cute ideas. But by doing invitations, order of service, thank you notes yourself then it cuts down on expense. also if you do a buffet yourself, instead of a formal sit down meal, then that reduces cost. try to get your church involved, maybe with the buffet, then they will feel involved with your weding. i hope this helps.

Hi ! When are you getting married? If it is near graduation time - you can watch the jewlry store ads in the paper - the little ads that are in by themselves in a box, etc. not ads in a flyer necessarily - anyway you will see a lot of sterling silver trinkets/boxes, jewlry, etc. on great sale prices at that time of year. They make good gifts.

Also, for a reception idea: I went to one that had tables for everyone to sit around - nothing formal, just a place to sit & visit. At each seat she had this really cute/cheap "gift" for each seat : she took a Hershey Hugs & a Hershey Kiss & on a small (6 x 3 inch strip of paper fold in half long way & use a hole puncher to put a hole in the upper corner) use the cheap ribbon in your wedding color (pink or black or both!) tie the ribbon through the hole into a small bow. On each card have typed this little note: Hugs & Kisses from the Mr. & Mrs. Place one Hershey Hug & one Hershey Kiss on top of each card & place it at each seat. You could add to the note underneath the greeting if you wanted to say something like - We are so happy you could be with us today!
