Getting a bit "clucky"

Do any of you girls (guys if guys get that way :S) get clucky...

Usually I'm fine but the past few months... MAN! I don't like seeing mum after mum pregnant or with a child, and want one myself...

Logically I don't want one, or need one at this point. Emotionally i sorta want a child...

Hehe. I'm TTC so I know how wanting a baby is but I love watching my nephew and getting to come home at 11pm and be kid free again until the next day at 2. Blue is right, it's SO MUCH different when it's all the time.

Enjoy being care free while you can because once you are someone's mummy there is no turning back.

It's alright i was just venting my frustration... I mean in a small town, i saw about 10 mothers with babies..

hehe... i dont get clucky... i want kids one day... i love kids (why on earth would I otherwise pursue a career where i work with them every day! lol)

6hours in one day is enough for me at present! hehehe.

Definition of clucky, please... Just to make sure that the post I have in mind is valid for this thread. If it's about going coochy coochy coo to babies and pulling faces to make them laugh and giggle, I qualify

My church's youth minister has a son who by now is almost 2. He's quite a cute little fellow and I've found myself any times after a night service playing little games to try and get a giggle out of him. And it's moments like those that have I guess made me look forward to being a dad one day

I have very brief moments of wanting a baby...and then when I think about the stretch marks, the weight gain, the morning sickness, and having your entire life surrounding their every need.....

ALL THE 'CLUCKINESS' GOES AWAY.

What's worse for me though is allllll my friends and everyone around me is getting married and I have to wait atleast 2 more years. Grrrrr.

Yep... I've been feeling it lately again. I think this time it stems from getting engaged. Like an 'ok, there's one more piece of the puzzle in place' sorta thing.

We're definitely not going to be trying for kids right away, and I know we won't be in a good position for raising kids right away, and so I am content to wait for a few years. But that doesn't stop me from wishful thinking!

I can totally relate. I think definitely now that I am with someone I want to spend the rest of my life with, it all sort of kicks in. I'm anxious to get married and have kids, but at the same time I know I'm young, so I remind myself I have plenty of time. I know for me when I get married, we'll probably spend a couple years just being a married couple before we try to have a baby. Sometimes I get anxious about having a baby, but like someone else said, I'm quickly reminded of the stretch marks and all that stuff and I think um maybe not just yet....hehe

what really stinks is when you get pregnant and then you have to wait 9 months...which is feeling like forever, plus the sickness and stuff that's been mentioned. of course the baby's worth it, just enjoy not having any responsiblities while you still can.
