Oh. I couldn't do it myself, as distant as I am from family members and as far flung as my friends are i'd feel like a complete deserter if I just upped sticks and left them. Blood is blood, I can't be in a location where getting back is not a simple matter of hopping on the eurostar, not until they're dead and buried. Complicated family relations FTW.
