God can remove a frown and put a smile on your face
Fill your soul and heart with peace and loving grace
You can say a prayer and He will intervene
And change your life from turmoil to serene.

God will be there to answer your call
No busy signal or hold time at all
Just ask and receive with faith unfailing
And in His time requests are prevailing.

He will surround you with angels hovering near
Until the answer for you becomes clear
The still soothing voice will bring you peace
As the cares and woes you begin to release.

Our God is love, our God is kind
A more faithful friend you will never find
So forever trust and hold on tight
And keep up the faith to experience God's might.

Bless you this day!

Bonds breaks power mark, but Giants fall
By Chuck Johnson, USA TODAY

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds hit his 71st home run Friday night, taking him to a place no player has gone before. Then he hit his 72nd and pushed the single-season home run record even further out of this world. On a night when the Giants' playoff hopes were dealt a knockout blow, Bonds struck back-to-back blows for the history books as he surpassed Mark McGwire's record 70 homer plateau set in 1998 and became the single-season home run king. A game after tying Big Mac for the record in a 10-2 victory at Houston's Enron Field, Bonds ended the suspense on his first at-bat and first swing before a sellout crowd of 41,730 at Pacific Bell Park.
