Geneva Bands

I have asked this question before and I have had the resources to find this item but I have lost that information....

That being said...do any of you know where I could purchase a Geneva Band? I collect religious apparrel and I would like to add a Geneva Band to my collection.

Pastors still wear geneva bands? That's cool, what church is that? I thought the practice of wearing bands died out in the 19th century. It's nice to see a church with a respect of history.

Yeah some still do wear geneva bands. It is mainly in the Presbyterian denomination that the pastors wear them, but I don't think all of them do. I like the geneva bands and what they stand for.

The pastor in the picture is from some church in New York. But at the church I was attending while at college the pastor still wore the geneva band.

Interesting. What denomination uses these?

It looks like a necktie that he forgot to tie. (Just kidding)

You'd be hard-pressed to see my pastor in a necktie. I had to get married to see him in a suit.

I had a pastor once who wore one. Very traditional, liturgical, (some refer to them as "High Churches") churches in the Reformed Tradition still have some pastors using Geneva Bands. They are very uncommon in the USA.
