General forum procedure question

I know very well that I'm new here but I have a question though.

Why start a thread or post in the "Creation Science" forum in the first place when it winds up here anyway? Seems a bit unneccessary to me altough I posted there before noticing. I could be wrong but I see no point.
What's it for?

Please explain.

Suppose you are a creationist who has a question for other creationists.

You post it, asking for the creationist answer to it.
As well as creationist posts, a number of theistic evolutionists reply, knocking the whole theory rather than giving the answer you seek.

It has in the past led to much irritation and distress, on both sides of the debate.

We asked Erwin for the creation sub-forum, to enable us to ask a specific question of a specific group with similar views.

Now the evolutionists can only post "fellowship" posts and not "debate" on the creationist area, and likewise they have their "home" too where we must return the favour.

We can all get together freely for debate on the main "origins" forum if we want to hear the other side of the debate.

Hope this helps you understand why this has been arrabged.
